Description
Set of 4 Teak Model 418 Dining Chairs, designed by Arne Vodder and produced by Sibast. Made in Denmark, 1960s.
These are a beautifully designed set of chairs, with some really lovely details in their construction. They have a bent ply back, teak veneered. The chairs have complex engineered joints on the top rail as they abutt the turned, tapering back legs. The top of the back legs are canted backwards, and have chamfered tops. The front legs are turned and tapering, and the stretchers are almost elliptical in shape. The legs and the rail are solid teak. Chairs have been reupholstered sympathetically to their original design.

Whilst these chairs are in great condition, they are vintage, and as such have patination commensurate with their age.
