This two drawer elm table was crafted in the latter half of the nineteenth century in Shanxi province. Its chunky wood structure features a thick table top and slightly splayed legs. The two drawers are each fitted with simple ring handles and show off the lovely, patterned grain of the elm wood beautifully. The bottom shelf is ideal for showcasing ornaments or for storing books and magazines, while the table top boasts a charmingly weathered appearance, showcasing its years of use.
