Christmas gift highlights from the Natural History Museum Shop

Planning for Christmas and want to make feel-good choices that support the protection of our planet? Look no further than the Natural History Museum Shop, with Christmas essentials and unique gifts to suit everyone.

Every purchase from the Natural History Museum Shop helps to support the Museum’s 350 scientists and their vital and pioneering work, including finding solutions to biodiversity loss and the climate emergency.

This winter the Natural History Museum shop will stock an exciting range of exclusive Christmas tree decorations suited to animal lovers and dinosaur enthusiasts.

The collection, which includes a dodo, diplodocus and a particularly adorable stegosaurus, is the perfect addition for a truly roar-some Christmas tree, including the ultimate angelic T-rex tree topper. Sustainability is at the heart of the collection, and they are all glitter-free.

Dinosaur fans everywhere will also want to kick off the festive season in style, and the Museum will be back with another ROARsome new Christmas jumper design for 2022.

Made in England, this year’s dino themed, traditional Christmas jumper is made from 100% recycled yarn, using post-consumer waste cotton to avoid water intensive conventional cotton farming, and polyester from locally recycled plastic bottles. The Christmas jumpers are manufactured by ethically knitwear producer Jack Master, a UK based and family-owned factory.

Available in unisex adult and child sizes, the jumper is a must-have for the whole family. A matching hat and scarf are also available to complete the look!

From dinosaurs to Darwin: Father’s Day gifts from the Natural History Museum Shop

Celebrate Father’s Day on Sunday 19 June with cards, books, games and clothing inspired by dinosaurs, space and the father of evolution himself, Charles Darwin.

From fascinating books and heart-warming cards to socks and t shirts donning dinosaurs and Darwin, dads and their families will love the Natural History Museum Shop’s unique range of gifts inspired by nature, discovery, and adventure.

Highlights include the ‘Darwin on Tour t-shirt’, a souvenir t-shirt from the biggest tour in Natural History, and ‘Dadventures’, a charming book packed with ideas for fun, inexpensive and practical activities for fathers wanting to make the most of every moment with their kids.

For those who enjoy great-tasting ales the fabulous collection of 'extinctively refreshing' beers in the Dorset Brewing Company Jurassic Coastal gift set is the perfect present. Inside are two 500ml bottles of delicious ale and a limited-edition conical craft ale glass stamped by this award-winning Jurassic Coast brewhouse.  If dad prefers a refreshing G&T, look no further than the Museum’s exclusive carbon-negative Discovery Gin, created using fresh basil, fragrant lemongrass and aromatic clove.
The range also includes games and puzzles the whole family can enjoy, such as the Jurassic World boardgame, NASA Space Mission game and the 100 piece Earth jigsaw - a stunning floor-jigsaw of our magnificent planet as viewed from outer space.

Every purchase from the Museum shop helps to support the Museum’s 350 scientists and their vital work, including finding solutions to the planetary emergency.
