The inside of the bird is unglazed so please do not fill with water. We suggest using a small lid for water if you are putting picked flowers in. To help style and keep your bird's chosen plumage in place, you can put a small bundle of paper, sponge, moss or blu-tac on the inside. You might want to use your larger bird as a match striker pot - we recommend filling it with 10cm matchsticks and a striker pad on the base - which we also sell!
Your bird may differ slightly from those shown in the images as each one is totally unique, every part is made by hand - from their beaks to their bodies and the glaze.
