Description
Wanting to add texture to her collection of steel works, designer Lisa Turley set about the search for the most eco- friendly, functional and best looking rope she could find.
With her primary medium (steel) acknowledged as the world's most recycled material - it is, in fact 100% recyclable over and over again with little degradation - it was important to Lisa that her chosen twine measure up.
Earthy and beautiful, Lisa quickly decided on hemp rope. Why?
Lisa is quick to answer "Hemp is strong, biodegradable, compostable, sustainably produced, and a renewable resource".
It embodies Lisa's eco-friendly ethos and compliments the steel perfectly.
Lisa's new works are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and are available from her stockists or through her website from April 1.
