They have been gilded with silver leaf which has been carefully applied by hand and varnished for protection. Cork pads to the underside will protect your surface as well as the candle holder base. The silver leaf has been varnished for durability but remains a delicate finish and should be treated with care. Non-drip candles should be used and any wax removed carefully.
