DeepL TranslateThis sculpture is a new addition to my rocky sculptures series with a different composition and I?ve used a new technique to add more detail to the surface ? meadow and sea grasses are engraved onto the surface of the glass, in some cases on both sides
I construct it by hand using chunks of American Bullseye Glass to create natural forms.
It?s a 3 dimensional piece in beautiful colours including blue, yellow and green glass.
Each composition is different. It?s only when I take it out of the kiln after a 6 day firing that I can see the result and find out if I?ve captured the essence of my inspiration!
