The blocks have been designed by Cath's own studio Joy of Print which she founded in 2017. Each Indian wooden printing block has been meticulously hand carved by artisans in India using sustainably forested sheesham wood, giving each piece its own unique, life-lasting handprint.
The Indian Block Print Co. is dedicated to promoting joy and confidence through craft and to supporting the survival of the ancient craft of block carving, working directly with its carvers. This collaboration unites master craftsmanship from Rajasthan with Cath's timeless English print designs, from the carving rooms of Jaipur to the everyday kitchen table.
