Stria

The product from Makers Cabinet is an exceptionally high quality and elegant folding ruler, Stria has function and style all in one. This ruler measures in metric and imperial and lays securely on the page due to its weight. Stria is machined from solid brass, the 15cm ruler folds out to 30cm using its one-of-a-kind dovetail hinge. It features an innovative haptic click mechanism, which indicates when the arm reaches 45°, 90°, and 135°. It’s angled face allows for an ergonomic viewing angle and provides support for controlled cutting. Stira comes with a thumbscrew which allows users to set the resistance of the hinge, and to disassemble and maintain Stria for generations of use. The thumbscrew has been designed to be used in collaboration with the Høvel meaning it can be stored in the place of Høvel’s thumbscrew.
