Description
Get creative with the double Maria S C Test Tube Chandelier by Polish designer Pani Jurek. This contemporary light fitting is made from laboratory glass test tubes, set in two plywood bands.
The test tube pendant is inspired by the Polish scientist, Maria Sklodowska-Curie, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry and has an art deco feel about it.
As the tubes are detachable this light fitting provides ample opportunity for you to get creative and experiment with a variety of configurations and flower arrangements. Use vibrant liquids, plants, sand, beads, or other unique and colourful items.
The package contains:
- two rings with the hanging strings,
- ceramic bulb socket,
- ceramic ceiling rose
- 96 test tubes (60+36)
Bulb is not included. (E27 type, max to 100 Watt)
Tubes are very durable. They should not been broken in transport but you will receive some additional test tubes, just in case.
The lamp is very easy to install. You need it just to hang and put the tubes into the ring.
To arrange the rainbow, we have used food colouring powder (3 basic colors: red, blue, yellow) and mixed it in different proportions. Food powders are easy to remove, they do not color of glass permanently.
