Description
This papier mâché bauble has been hand-made by artisans in Kashmir for Fair to Trade. The tradition of papier mâché in the region dates back to the 15th century when settlers from Persia brought the craft to the area. Fair to Trade ensure products are manufactured under conditions that meet recognised employment standards, including fair wages, providing clean and safe working environments, and providing skills training and promotion prospects.
