Scaramanga’s old shelving, cabinets and cupboards are not new or made to look old. They may have small marks, scratches and faded paintwork, which are consistent with their age and original use. We feel these add to their character and appeal. Looking for a different chest or cupboard? We stock a large range of antique and vintage storage cupboards and cabinets
Damchiyas or Indian hope chests were originally designed and made to store a bride's dowry or wedding gifts. Often replicated and reproduced to look like this original piece. We've left the time-worn paintwork the way we found it in March. Our team of expert restorers in Rajasthan have simply washed, waxed and fitted a shelf into the main compartment.
