Beryl, the innovative and seductive mirror designed by Francesco Forcellini, is inspired by the step cuts typical of emeralds and other gems in the Beryl family such as aquamarine or red beryl, one of the rarest in the world. Beryl looks at these extraordinarily beautiful stones and captures their essence starting with the cut, known as a step cut, which is particularly complex to protect extremely fragile stones that could break. In creating Beryl, Tonelli Design and Forcellini take their inspiration from the cutting procedures of a jewel, betting on immaculate transparency. Their collections live by their own light, and the purity of this inspiration allows them to create a mirror that not only reflects images but also becomes in turn the reflection of a craftsmanship style and an unusual way of thinking about furniture.
