Furnishing a new home should be a joyful and stress-free experience. However, our founder Will Plowden became aware that it’s often anything but. Watching his sister struggling to decorate her first flat, Will realised that planning and furnishing a new home is a complicated and often dispiriting experience. He saw her worrying about product dimensions, wrestling with colour schemes, struggling to identify her own personal style. And he came to the conclusion that there must be a better way. That’s how the concept of The Roost came about. A platform offering the complete home shopping experience, taking away the uncertainty and difficulties, and adding a big boost of joy into the mix.
