The silver leaf brooch is inspired by the delicate line of veins running through real leaves in nature. The sterling silver design (2.5cm x 3cm) is polished and slightly doomed to give this unique jewellery a three dimensional look.

Kristina uses recycled or fair-trade materials with sustainable histories to produce limited edition artisan jewellery that she hopes will be passed down generations.

In her “Silver Leaf” collection Kristina, founder of Ark Jewellery, delves into the relationship between nature, plants, and women. She draws inspiration from the vital veins of leaves and the Moon, exploring the interdependency of daily life.

The design of the “Arabesque” collection is inspired by Middle Eastern Architecture. Decorations make frequent use of geometric patterns and are often built on combinations of repeated squares and circles which may be overlapped and interlaced to form intricate and complex patterns including a wide variety of tiles. These may constitute the entire decoration, may form a framework for floral or star-shaped embellishments, or may retreat into the background around other motifs.

The pattern is laser cut and intricately engraved inlaid with a silver or copper disc. This collection is made of sustainable oak wood and finished with organic varnish or paint.
