We would like to introduce you some new materials about LISTONE GIORDANO, the Italian firm leader in the parquet flooring, completely Made in Italy.

We would like to present the NATURAL GENIUS collection with two products created by international recognized designers: MEDOC by Michele De Lucchi with Philippe Nigro and BISCUIT by Patricia Urquiola.

MEDOC is a multilayer pre-finished engineered hardwood floor in trapezoidal shape, features a core battens and counterbalancing layer. It features dimensional and aesthetic characteristics of a hand-made product. Therefore prospective tolerances related, for instance, to the planarity of the boards, non homogeneity of the colour treatment and little discolouring, angle cracks, etc. prove the craftsmanship value of the product itself.
BISCUIT is the output of an in-depth analysis of the traditional parquet fitting systems thus interlacing the wood floor's historical legacy with the contemporary style. The rounded edge modifies the usual linear shape of the board endowing it with a strong personality. Inlay, mosaic, herringbone, brick pattern: whatever the pattern you choose, Biscuit looks like the flooring turns into a rich interwoven and overlapping fabric.
We also would like to present you the latest interior projects where Listone Giordano has been involved: Rafael Rivera's house in Mexico City and the restaurant Ignivin Switzerland, placed at Grand Resort Bad Ragaz designed by Patricia Urquiola and realized by Andreas Caminada.

The international known designer Rafael Rivera has chosen Listone Giordano to furnish his house. In this project, a house of the nineteenth century has been completely renovated maintaining the original facade. Using stylistic solutions and materials which demonstrate a grat sensibility for the proportions, the wood becomes as a second skin, warm and seductive, suitable to different uses. Covering the horizontal surface but also the walls, Rivera and Listone Giordano creates the "vertical floor" with a stylistic and material continuity.

For the new design of the restaurant ”Igniv”, situated in the Palais of Grand Hotel Hof Ragaz at the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, Patricia Urquiola was inspired by its name; meaning “nest” in the Rhaetho-Romanic language. Urquiola wanted to recreate the typical conviviality of a nest, in accordance with the kitchen philosophy of sharing by Andreas Caminada. Patricia Urquiola wanted to underline the concept of nest with the mix and match of the materials and also of contemporary and more classic elements. She mixed the wood with rich materials, like brass and she used the parquet as a boiserie on the walls. Urquiola gave new life to the classic elements using them in innovative ways.
