‘Bloom’ is the new collection of homewares produced in association with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, a world leader in plant science and conservation. The beautiful illustrations have been carefully selected from the  botanical art library and archives of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Bloom showcases the stunning beauty of botanist drawings with some dating back over 300 years. They have been reimagined and reproduced to create this distinctive collection.

Floral and botanical-inspired designs continue to be a major trend within interior design with the sense of bringing the outside into the home to create a feeling of balance and beauty. Bloom has four designs in the collection: Midnight Floral, Floral Butterfly, Fruit & Floral, Bee Floral offering a selection of background colours to complement your kitchen décor - dark navy, pale pink, duck egg blue, and sage green. The collection comprises mugs, table mats and coasters along with household textiles – tea towels and oven gloves.

“Bloom is an exciting new range that we have produced on behalf of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Our designers carefully selected the illustrations from Kew’s Archive, recreating them to feature across the collection. They will be a real feature in any kitchen or dining table!” says Lucie Taff, Head of Product at Pure Table Top (producers of the range).

Quincy Leon, Head of Licensing at RBG Kew said: “The Bloom homewares collection is truly beautiful and will delight any home. We’re very proud to have developed this collection with Pure Table Top using our world renowned library of botanical art for inspiration.”

What’s more the mug shape was designed exclusively for this collection and is produced in beautiful fine china, a refined yet long-lasting material and the way the illustrations have been featured on the mugs creates a lovely quality texture really making the designs pop.

The kitchen linens are made with BCI cotton – the largest sustainable cotton programme globally and the placemats and coasters have a lacquer finish making them heat resistant to 150C, meaning they are not only beautiful additions to your table but highly functional too.

Shoppers can purchase the beautiful new array of homeware products knowing that their purchase is supporting and funding Kew’s vital conservation work, Kew works with over 800 partner organisations in over 100 countries, helping to protect, conserve and better understand some of the world’s rarest plants.

The new collection launches in October 2021 and will be available from the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and online at Home | The Kew Shop  and in independent gifts shops, nationwide.
