Burnt Peach was born from founder Pia Gill’s desire to create artwork for her own home that was meaningful. More than generic prints, Burnt Peach’s typography art draws inspiration from her family and experiences to capture moments that urge you to pause and reflect, or laugh with delight.
Whether you’re rolling with the punches, remembering the time when you wanted everything that you have right now, or simply enjoying your home, striking typography adds personality and punch to your walls—and soon to your wardrobe with a clothing range featuring the same bold prints hitting the rails now.
Little Peach Portraits complement the collection. Silhouette art in colour, ink, floral, and alphabet collections, they capture a moment in time from babyhood and beyond—including adolescence and adulthood; these aren’t just for children. Pondering pouts, delighted laughter, and curls that just won’t be tamed are meticulously translated into a piece of art that fits perfectly with your home, whatever your style.
Talking about her work, Pia says: “When I was looking for art for my own home, I struggled to find options that were meaningful and affordable, so I used my advertising and design experience to create my own. Typography art is based on my own family experiences, and silhouette portraits helped me to capture moments from my own more reluctant subjects. When friends saw what I was creating, they asked for help in bringing their own walls to life, and so Burnt Peach was born.”
Burnt Peach is owned and operated by Pia Gill. Her business has grown from her professional design expertise honed in the advertising industry, and a desire to create meaningful wall art that goes beyond mass produced generic offerings to art with a personal touch. Portraits, typography prints, greeting cards, and bold typography clothing combine to create a unique brand and gifting opportunities for every occasion and every day.
