A New Collaboration with Rebekah Johnston
Introducing our new Slow Stitched Coasters and Mini Quilt Craft Kits, developed by Helen Round, in partnership with talented textile artist, Rebekah Johnston, who is renowned for exploring themes of emotional wellbeing in her work.

Suitable for adults, without prior experience of sewing, this project is designed to be sewn by hand. The process of making each set is intended to be calm, soothing, and meditative, introducing people to slow stitching and the positive benefits to wellbeing that meditative making can bring.

The kit contains all the materials to make a set of 4 slow stitched coasters or a mini quilt which can be used in the home or framed and displayed as a piece of artwork.

Beautiful linen, two contrasting cottons, a Milliner's needle and backing fabrics are contained in a sturdy, reusable cardboard carton with choice of a natural or blue colour theme.  All linen is sustainably sourced and incorporates cutting room fabric offcuts from the Helen Round Studio, to help minimise waste. Teaching is through an instructional video, so it’s possible to sew along, stop, start, and listen again as often as necessary.

Each kit costs £36; they can be ordered from www.helenround.com.

Great gifts for Valentines Day, Mother’s Day, Easter or Birthdays.

Both lovely kits are available now on the website with an official launch date of 4th Feb 2023.
