Eco paint specialists Victory Colours have launched a new shade of paint, developed and named by one of its customers.

Bear’s Paw No.123, a warm beige, is the brainchild of Victory Colours’ Managing Director Victoria Yardley, who worked in partnership with their customer Stevie @at_homewiths to mix the perfect colour for her home renovation.

This subtle, pared down neutral has a depth and warmth to it which makes it the perfect shade for walls and ceilings. And so pleased were Victory Colours with the outcome, they decided to add it to their collection.

Victoria said: “Our customers know we will always try to meet their requests and we were thrilled to meet Stevie’s brief for a warming, stylish neutral. And we were so pleased with the outcome that we decided to add it to our own collection.

“But to honour Stevie and her request, we asked her to name the paint and she decided to immortalise her beloved cat Mr Bear and named the shade Bear’s Paw.”

Like the rest of the Victory Colours’ collection, Bear’s Paw No.123 is low in VOCs and solvent free.

It is available now from the Victory Colours’ website and is priced at £41.95 for 2.5-litres of matt emulsion.
