Wallpapers, a collaboration between D-Segno Studio and Anna D'Andrea of Illustration & Surface Design, combines aesthetic exploration, color, and craftsmanship, unites aesthetic research, colour and tailoring by bringing together inexhaustible sources of inspiration: flowers, leaves and animals of more or less exotic inspiration, but also squares, triangles, circles and digital themes, a mix of characteristics that develop into 20 different motifs.
In the creation of Wallpapers, sustainability has been prioritized, a commitment reflected in the selection of materials for the 4 available support options, each tailored to specific needs and characteristics.
In the creation of the Wallpapers collection, sustainability is a top priority, evident in the selection of materials for the four different available substrates, each with its unique characteristics and meeting specific requirements. The collection includes two PVC-free options, Eco PVC Free 180 gr and Fiberglass 265 gr. Eco PVC Free 180 gr features a non-woven back and a silk-effect front made of a poly-ether and paper mix, offering both aesthetic appeal and durability. Fiberglass 265 gr, on the other hand, is a high-quality woven glass fabric wallpaper that allows the wall to breathe and prevents the growth of mold or fungi. It is suitable for new installations or wet areas and comes with a receptive coating for a wide range of colors and scratch resistance. Another option, Vinyl Linen 350 gr, is a textured, non-woven wallpaper coated in printable vinyl with a canvas weave, ideal for traditional and mural wall coverings in contract spaces. Lastly, Fibre 350 gr is a textured non-woven fabric with a printable vinyl coating, featuring a thin fibrous surface that minimizes the visibility of small imperfections. Both of these options are fire retardant and treated with Bio-PrufTM, offering long-lasting antimicrobial protection.
