MEDOC: THE FIRST PARQUET TREATMENT BY LISTONE GIORDANO DERIVED FROM NATURAL CIRCULAR ECONOMY EMBELLISHED WITH NATURAL WINE DYES.

Medoc, the wood floor that embodies the very soul of Listone Giordano's Natural Genius collection, is an architect's homage to the company's French spirit. Signed by an undisputed genius like Michele De Lucchi, it is a fil rouge that connects Umbria to the forests of Burgundy and continues to the heart of the famous wine region of Bordeaux. The name Médoc - already known before the time of the ancient Romans - means the middle territory or pagus medulorum. A place from which the famous oenological model imitated all over the world was born, a success made not only of magical grapes.

Medoc embodies a synthesis between terms that are not always easy to reconcile: Aesthetics and Ethics, that is, External Beauty and Substance, Appearance and Essence, Surface and Pulp. Michele De Lucchi's project (together with Philippe Nigro) masterfully opened the chapter of a new book entitled Natural Genius. Precisely because of its characteristics of innovation and research in the flooring sector, the inspirational concept from which this product took shape moves from the idea of leaving the wood its effect of “pulp,” of solid, authentic, consistent material, using in an innovative form the technologies matured over the years by the company.
