Inject some Colour with a Designer Radiator

When adding colour to a room, the obvious options are to paint the walls or accessorise with bold soft furnishings, but why not consider the heating too? Gone are the days of standard white boxes on the wall, today's designs come in every colour of the rainbow, not to mention metallic and even mirrored finishes.

Be Bold with Colour

The Radiator Centre have a great range of designer radiators in bold exciting colours, shapes and designs, making it easy to create a statement with your heating. The Rosy Pro shown above is a new high performance radiator designed for heat pump or low temperature systems.  Available in a choice of colours and with smart controls it is the perfect combination of style and energy-efficiency.

A designer look doesn't have to mean compromising on efficiency and the Play radiator shown top left, is one example from The Radiator Centre's energy efficient range. It may be cute to look at but it certainly packs a punch, producing unparalleled levels of heat from its Low-H20 heat exchange. Perfect for a child's room, it also offers a low surface temperature for the more safety conscious and comes in four appealing colourways.

For those with low temperature heating systems, such as solar energy or heat pumps, it's still possible to achieve great heat output whilst utilising green technology. The Play radiator comes in a 'fan-assisted' version and it's Dynamic Boost Effect (DBE) is specifically designed to boost the power of Low-H20 designs by two or three times.

Add Metallic Shine

The metallic trend shows no signs of going anywhere when it comes to interiors. The Cortina radiator, shown above, is the ideal way to add some cool metallic shine to the home and comes in three sparkling colourways - gold, black or metallic. Each one is composed of differing shades of polished, painted, matt and satin tiles, fixed over a base manufactured from high-quality, extruded aluminium. There is the option of a towel rail making it ideal for bathrooms and it also comes in an electric version too. This artistic design is sure to create a talking point wherever it is placed.

Mirrored Illusion

Is it a radiator or a mirror? As Nick Duggan, MD at The Radiator Centre explains, "Mirrored radiators have increasingly come to the fore in recent times and it's not hard to see why. With people opting for vertical radiators in order to free up wall space, mirrored radiators provide the perfect combination of a heat source with another practical product. They are a popular choice for bedrooms, bathrooms and hallways and also now increasingly in conservatories, where the trend to incorporate mirrors into garden design is being reflected indoors as well. This all helps to create the much sought-after feel of bringing the outdoors in."

Nick continues, "As well as being multi-functional and stylish, mirrored radiators also make the perfect addition to small rooms. Due to the mirror reflecting the wall colour, the radiator can appear to almost disappear into it's surroundings, creating a spacious feel to the room."
