Congratulations ChilliWinter, Gift of The Year Winners!
ChilliWinter are the newly crowned winning brand of this year’s Gift of The Year Awards for ‘Beauty, Beauty and Spa’!
The prestigious awards hosted by the Giftware Association gave the nod to ChilliWinter for their Remedial Aromatherapy Candle Collection, also scooping ‘Highly Commended’ in the Home Fragrance Category.
Their unique 'Little Box of Mindful Moments' also acheived a 'Highly Commended' Award for 'My GIft of All Time'.
ChilliWinter's co-founder Kathy Chillistone is an established business engagement and wellbeing specialist, who gave up the Corporate world 3.5+ years’ ago.
Now into their 4th year, ChilliWinter have developed their brand visibility across home fragrance, beauty and jewellery products with over 125+ stockists and a growing White Label design service.
Their winning Remedial Aromatherapy Candle Collection is handmade, using the very finest blended essential oils, evoking a sensory response. Each of the five blends has a holistic, remedial purpose, reflected in its name.
Breathe – Enliven and awaken your senses. A naturally woody blend, infused with refreshing Eucalyptus, spicy Bay and Clove Bud.
Calm – Soothing Aromatic Lavender, Clary Sage, Chamomile and Geranium. Entwined with refreshing notes of Bergamot.

Isle of Wight Home Fragrance Company ChilliWinter
ChilliWinter is made up of couple Kathy Chillistone and Dave Winter who are based in the salty air and sandy shores of the Isle of Wight. Working from their home in Cowes, whilst also fulling key worker and community roles, the pair have worked hard to establish a growing presence in the home fragrance market.
During lock-down 1, they adapted and responded to their stockist closures and event cancellations with the creation of a Rainbow product collection, designed to inspire hope, whilst also fundraising c.£4k for their local Hospice Mountbatten in the process.
Since then, they have introduced four new lines and re branded, making small inroads across social media to formulate a more cohesive brand identity and customer following. In what is a thoroughly over-saturated market, they continue to differentiate themselves with their values-led commitments.
Supporting the launch of the annual Hospice Care Week at the beginning of October, ChilliWinter's partnership with Hospice UK was proudly announced, alongside the launch of their brand-new remedial Aromatherapy Collection. Kathy said,
"Each blend is a unique recipe of natural essential oils designed to optimise and enhance our sense of wellbeing. With 21st century life pressures already tough-going, along came 2020 to knock the wind out of our sails. I developed each with a name to reflect it's specific purpose - which offers a choice to benefit everyone depending on their symptoms and mood;

With every 150g candle purchased (RRP £19.50) a whopping £3.75 is donated direct to Hospice UK.

Michael Clarke, the Senior New Business Executive for Hospice UK said,
“We are the national charity for hospice and end of life care, and the leading voice for the hospice sector. We work to ensure all adults and children living with a terminal or life-shortening illness receive the care and support they need, when they need it. Our 209 hospice members collectively supported 225,000 people in the UK last year, and provided 72,000 families and carers with bereavement support.
Our response to Covid-19 includes negotiating £350m in emergency government funding so that hospices can stay open and care for 6,800 people per day throughout the pandemic. We have distributed 1 million units of PPE free to regional hospices every week and provided round-the-clock mental health and wellbeing support to any frontline workers across the UK through www.ourfrontline.org.
