After facing financial difficulties that led to the brand’s closure in 2014, Claudia used the time to reflect and reinvent. With over two decades of retail experience and a passion for coastal living, she relaunched Runaway Coast with a commitment to sustainability and quality craftsmanship. Claudia’s journey through the pandemic, where she led two struggling zoos through a financial crisis, further strengthened her resolve and vision for the brand.

Runaway Coast now embraces eco-friendly practices and designs that capture the essence of British coastal beauty. Inspired by salty air, rolling waves, and windswept landscapes, the brand focuses on creating timeless pieces that foster connection, family, and tradition.
